“WordPress 2.0.6 — 11 days ago” “WordPress 2.0.7 — 1 day ago”
6 files have changed between those two versions, yet they still can’t post a diff. Instead, I’m supposed to download the entire package, extract those 6 files, then copy them, twice, to two different websites because WP still doesn’t have a handle on multi-blog functionality.
Over the last year or two, I’ve seriously updated this blog more often than I’ve posted to it.
I was planning on posting something witty and insightful about The Real World, but you’ll have to settle for this today. Enjoy!
PS: Wordpress isn’t all awful, but this “oh woops we have another security update” every 10-20 days sure is.

I manage a multi-blog installation (xblogs.ca) and I know there are more than a few flaws with it (the upload functionality doesn’t work and I’ve had to cobble something together, adding blogs doesn’t work correctly and I’ve had to hack at the SQL, etc).
I am also annoyed with WordPress’s inability to post diffs - I have to manually check which files have been updated (I have a local copy of my WordPress installation) and upload only those.
It’s really annoying, and I hope they fix that soon.
