| The server just went down once again.. I just sent an email to a total of 15 people or so who are associated with running/maintaining a server with this message: I have a big problem with a server.. The [CS] clan currently has a TFC server. Here are the stats: T1 connection Windows 98 (if I could change it to linux I would :) P2 450 with 128 RAM Anyway, the server has this wierd problem where sometimes if you switch from 2fort or 2morfort to another map, HLDS suddenly decides to close. Thats all it does, it closes. Since the person who has physical access to the server can only get to it a couple of times a week, the server is down a lot. I have no idea what is happening, or WHY its happening, I just know its really annoying. | [CS] vs [gRiD] OGL Match 2/26/00 Round 1-2fort [CS]-40 [gRiD]-10 The whole match was to stay on the [CS] server due to unjust pings on the [gRiD] server. [gRiD] actually had a slight ping advantage for the first part of the match due to them starting with only 5-6 players (which they agreed to), however they gained members throughout the round. [CS] started out with a quick cap soon after followed by a sneaky [gRiD] capture. As the [CS] defense began to get in place, the [CS] offense heated up just enough to pull away 3 more captures. We held [gRiD] to no more caps and were able to escape victorious. Round 2-fortsake2 [CS]-20 [gRiD]-20 Pings were pretty much the same as last round. The server was running smoothly throughout the match. On to the action.... [gRiD] began with a HEAVY scout rush who almost slipped past the [CS] D.....but didn't. Fortsake2, always a low scoring map, is usually won with good defense. [CS] defense rose to the challenge. First 20 minutes of the map [CS] D held strong as the Offense managed to slowly pull out a capture. Not much after [gRiD] did the same thing with some nice spywork. [CS] once again pulled out another cap as the Defense was constantly challenged by sneaky spies. Towards the end of the round [gRiD] busted through with spies and snuck the flag out to tie the game at 20-20. The round ended as once again, [gRiD] was escorting our flag out the door. GG [gRiD]! You were definately a tough opponent and I'm sure we were all bitin our nails through this one =) [CS]-Crashy |

| Map: Cz2 Round 1: 436-31 Round 2: 400-41 SG-1's server was down so we headed over to the brand spankin new [CS] server. Pings were pretty much even with SG1 @ a slight advantage. Match started out fast and furious with [CS] quickly getting the 25 points bonus and then some. Everything went well, server held well. Second round much of the same thing [CS] wins again. Many players dropped and rejoined throughout the round but oh well, I'm going to bed =)  End of round 1  Heheheheh  End of round 2 |

| Right when I get home, I will begin to work on processing the new rules into an easy to read format. Be sure to read them once I announce it here! BTW, be sure to stop by at least once every few days or so in the boards, there will start to be news there that wont show either here or in ICQ If ICQ is bugging you, try using Odigo. It uses the ICQ network and can quickly and easily import all your contacts from ICQ. I use it as my primary comms, but you should be sure to keep your copy of ICQ, because the only thing that Odigo doesn't support (there are quite a few things that Odigo has that ICQ doesn't, btw) is file transfers. (No this isn't an ad, I just like the program :) BTW, we will probably be having a scrimmage against Clan Epidemic tomorrow, stop by for more info. |

| Welcome to the new and improved [CS] Website. I have just finished setting up everything, and it is very likely that I have missed a few things beforehand. A couple of new things that you can find around the site are: - New members only section (ICQ me for username and pass) - Added files to the files section - New introduction that *gasp* WORKS!!! - New Poll (still a little buggy, working on it) Known bugs/problems are: - Public board is not up, but will be ready for some heavy usage whenever the company releases their next version *THIS WEEK*! - The Poll.
