We're done.
The reasons are numerous, but they largely come down to a large majority of members not having the free time or the desire to continue playing.
Some of us will likely move on to other clans to continue playing TFC. Others you will occasionally see playing in a pub somewhere (perhaps we'll do the occasional server raid?)
We (by "we" I mean this clan) will be back for HL2, provided it doesn't suck.
We were hoping to have fun fucking around with iM on Scrummage tonight, but it seemed the forces of RL were against us.

Writeup of ARES Match (08.19.2003 - alphatronics)

I don't know the typical formats for a writeup, as I havent done one of these in about.. oh, 3 years now, so bear with me.
Round 1: 0-0, Pretty boring for me, as I was an engy in the FR. We were pretty annoyed with their use of 2 chasing HW's, but eh, whatever. Both sides got a touch.
Round 2: 0-0, Same as round1. I think we got a couple more touches than ares this round, but nobody got anywhere.
Round 3: 0-1, A lot of our members have these things called a "real life", (which I know nothing about, but I hear they're pretty cool), so we had to scrape up whoever was online to play. We almost played with 8 (which wouldn't be an issue, if STA had any foresight), but LE was away from his GF long enough to play a bit this round.
Before LE showed up, though, we asked ARES if it was okay if we had Beano play a match, even though he had not yet gotten on our STA roster (he'd been on our site's roster for a couple days). This wasn't okay with them, and while it was ultimately their decision whether or not he played, I thought it was annoying that they would choose an uneven game to get a cheap win. We got the flag as far as their ramp room, but didn't get it past there. Those 5 nailgrens were just too strong for us. Ultimately, ARES got the cap, and we got to sleep. Oh well, I suppose this map brings out the worst in some people.
Anyway, kudos to ARES for more or less maintaining their civility, and kudos to G for playing two rounds while under the influence of extra-drowsy prescription medicine.

Many people didn't have the map files for the server and were too impatient to download from the server at about 5 kbps so I made an easy map pack for everyone. I've also included the individual maps and the lists will grow as I change the maps on the list or just add new ones.
I'm currently working on a new links section so if anyone has a favorite site (not necessarily half life related) then tell me about it and I'll add it. This is preferably sites with link pictures =P.
